It is a situation that seems all too similar from the last year, but due to the current situation with COVID-19, what was hoped to be the first round of the 4X Pro Tour has been moved to September 17th 2021.
Despite optimism from both us here at the 4X Pro Tour and the organisers of the iXS Dirt Masters Festival that the event would be able to go ahead as planned in May, it has become apparent that will not be the case:
“After last year swept over the globe like a tsunami and contaminated it with a viral disease in no time, everyone, including me, hopes that this year we will be better able to cope with the challenge. It is still uncertain if and which events and with which restrictions or changes there will be. But we are all looking positively towards September 2021! So hopefully we will see you from September 17-19, 2021 in the Bikepark Winterberg at the iXS Dirt Masters Festival! Stay healthy!“

Details of how the events will be going ahead are still being decided on.
As it stands the new schedule for the 4X Pro Tour 2021 season is:
- Round 1: Fort William, Scotland – May 22nd
- Round 2: Szczawno Zdroj, Poland – July 10th
- Round 3: Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic – July 17th
- Round 4: Eisenhüttenstadt, Germany – August 7th
- Round 5: Winterberg, Germany – September 17th
